Development Process

Here’s how we work with new clients, from first conversation through to full production.

Initial Discussion:

We start with a confidential conversation — in person, by phone or email — to understand your product and what you need. We’ll ask the right questions and give you a clear answer on whether we can help.

Information Gathering:

We ask for a sample of your product and packaging, your ingredient list and allergens, and a description of your current manufacturing process. This lets us properly assess whether your product is compatible with our facilities. We’ll also discuss packaging format and allergen requirements at this stage.

Trial:

Where required, we run a production trial to test and refine the process. Trials typically involve a small 5–7kg cook or a larger 70–90kg cook depending on requirements. We package and box the trial product for your evaluation, or return it as bulk if preferred.

Fine Tuning:

Based on the trial results we make any necessary adjustments to the recipe or process. This stage also covers final packaging decisions, allergen requirements, and pricing.

Production:

Once the process and packaging are confirmed we move to full production. We keep you informed throughout and are straightforward about timelines and any issues that arise.
